How to Play

Play Snoring Winter Edition online for free. Snoring Winter Edition is a Christmas-themed 24-stage logic and physics puzzle game where you must roll, bounce or fling animals across the screen to cause one of them to hit and wake a sleeping elephant. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Select the green button at the bottom of the loading screen to bring up the game welcome screen.
      • Select the wooden button with a triangle on the game welcome screen to start the game.
        • This will bring up the level select screen.
        • Each of the 24 levels must be beat sequentially.
        • Your web browser automatically stores your game progress.
          • The welcome screen also contains a sound control button in the upper left corner, a game data erase button in the lower left corner, and a developer information page button in the bottom center.

                • Use your finger like a mouse to tap the animals to activate their movements.

                                  • The game has 24 levels which must be beat in sequence.
                                  • You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each level based on how quickly you wake the elephant.
                                    • You can beat a level even if you have a zero star rating.
                                    • You can select a level you already beat previously from the level select screen.
                                      • Animal Types
                                        • This game has a variety of animals. Some you will encounter include:
                                          • owl – bounces
                                          • penguin – spins & can even spin uphill after it is hit by another animal
                                          • pig – rolls downhill
                                          • cow – alternates between a round rolling animal (similar to the pig) and a squarish animal which does not move. Cycling between moving and not is helpful for changing directions.
                                          • giraffe – tips
                                          • zebra – jumps
                                          • Strategy
                                            • The level is beat when you wake the elephant.
                                            • To wake the elephant you need something to bump into it.
                                            • The animal which bumps it may be the final one near it, or you may need to move that animal out of the way, or you may need to use that animal to bump another animal into the elephant.
                                            • You do not need to use every animal on every puzzle.
                                            • Since you can replay each level an unlimited number of times it may make sense to ignore the star ratings on your first play through and focus on the chain of events which needs to happen, then play the level again after beating it once.
                                              • The timer and the stars associated with the remaining time are shown at the top left of the screen.
                                              • The timer does not begin to count down until you interact with an animal.
                                              • Obstacles & patterns
                                                • Beating later levels requires precise timing.
                                                • If you are playing on desktop device and have to click multiple things in rapid succession sometimes it can make sense to make the screen size smaller to make the touchpoints closer together, or cycle the cow between circle and square to get it close to a ledge before completing your full move sequence.
                                                • The game introduces moving platform.
                                                  • These are quite challenging because you need to be vertically above the platform you are falling onto & the relative height difference between platforms and striking objects determines roll speed.
                                                  • On level 21 I had better luck dropping the top cow onto the platform first and then dropping the cow to the left on the platform. When the platform is near its right edge if you are too far left to touch the cow then sometimes making the top cow go round just before hitting the edge can allow you to roll right slightly, which means that after you square back up on your next pass through you should be able to hit the elephant.
                                                  • On level 22 have the pig come to a rest on the left side at the bottom before bringing the zebra across to fling it.
                                                  • Achievements
                                                    • As you progress through the game you can unlock the following 10 achievements.
                                                    • Student – complete the first tutorial levels.
                                                    • Cow Delivery 1 – Deliver the cow to the target.
                                                    • Crazy Penguin – pass the level using the penguin.
                                                    • Swing – use the swing for passing the level.
                                                    • Cow Delivery 2 – deliver two cows to the target.
                                                    • Cow Bridge – create the bridge using cows.
                                                    • One Star – collect 24 stars.
                                                    • Two Stars – collect 48 stars.
                                                    • Three Stars – collect 72 stars.
                                                    • Winner – wake the elephant in all 24 levels.
                                                    • Target Audience
                                                      • People who like simple physics & logic puzzle games should enjoy this game.
                                                      • There are no adult themes in this game.
