Play Space Astronaut Puzzle online for free. Space Astronaut Puzzle is a 25-stage level escape game with antigravity. Jump, climb, walk, and grapple your way across each stage while avoiding hazards like landmines & lasers. Make it to the level exit to play the next level. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Press the play button at the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.

      - Press W to jump or climb ladders.
      - Press S to climb down ladders.
      - Press A to move left.
      - Press D to move right.
      - Grappling hook
        Press the up arrow key to grapple upward.
        Press the down arrow key to grapple downward.
        Press the left arrow key to grapple left.
        Press the right arrow key to grapple right.
        Touchscreen devices
        Use the on-screen controls.
        Tap the screen with a finger and drag it across the screen to move in any direction.
        To use the grappling gun tap the button at the bottom center of the screen to activate it.
        The button turns green when activated.
        Tap the screen with a finger and drag it across the screen to grapple in the direction you want to grapple.
        Tap the grapple button again to turn it gray to deactivate it when you want to revert to using your standard movement commands.
        The grappling gun is first activated in level 5. Before level 5 that button does not appear onscreen.
        Controls & indicators
        The upper left corner of the screen has a home button & the upper right corner of the screen has a restart level button.
        The level select screen shows which levels you have completed.
        Game Play
        Movement
        You can jump off a static platform one grid unit upward, but float in space until you land on another unit, run into a ladder, or grapple into another object.
        Similarly, you can walk horizontally off a ladder or fixed platform and stay walking in space on a level plane.
        If the top of a ladder is not connected to a fixed platform and there is not one adjacent then you can get stuck in space if there is nothing to grapple onto, as you can’t go down a ladder you have already climbed past.
        Grappling
        You can attach your grappling hook to any side of a green bordered box or a wooden box.
        You can connect to a green bordered box or wooden box multiple times to drag it into different positions, or to drag yourself toward it from different angles.
        Boxes & obstacles
        Wooden boxes can block laser beams.
        You can also drag wooden boxes across red landmines without damaging them.
        Moving boxes vs astronauts
        When you are standing on a fixed object and you grapple a wood box you may cause the box to move toward you.
        If you grapple onto a fixed object or movable box while you are floating in space you will move toward the object you connected with.
        If there is a ladder in the middle of the connecting path you will pull a wooden box to the top edge of the ladder while pulling yourself atop the ladder.
        Levels
        This game has 25 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        You can replay any previously beat level at any time.
        The goal of each stage is to make it to the exit door.
        Dying
        You die if you run into a laser or landmine.
        If you die this game offers unlimited continues.
        You can also get stuck in space in an area where you can’t recover back to a platform.
        Strategy
        This game is not timed & your movements are not counted, so the big thing with the game is to strategize how to use the boxes and where to move them depending on how you grapple them.
        If you are standing on a fixed platform, are climbing a ladder, or are standing on wooden box & grapple a wooden box the wooden box will move toward you.
        If you are floating in space and you grapple a wooden box you will pull yourself toward it.
        You can move boxes multiple times & often have to move a box twice to have it not interfere with how you need to jump & move other boxes.
        If you want to jump up from a box you can’t have another box directly below it, so you may need to move the box you were standing on when you pulled another box down so that you are able to jump off the lower box.
        Ladders are sort of like movable boxes in terms of being something you can use multiple different ways.
        You can move across floating through space while midway up a ladder.
        Similarly you can grapple across while climbing anywhere along a ladder.
        If you can’t figure out a level start at the door at the end of a level with a finger on the screen and work backward to see which paths might be viable. This will make it easier to see which intermediate steps you need to take in the opposite direction.
        If you make a mistake you can always restart the level again.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like room escape games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
